Spellstack Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Spellstack is a single-player word puzzle for Android. There is no Spellstack account and no Spellstack game server.

Data on your device

Progress, stars, coins, XP, streak, and settings stay on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes this data. We do not operate a backend that receives your puzzle history.

Ads

Optional rewarded ads, occasional interstitial ads after campaign clears, and an app-open ad after you have finished five levels are served by Google AdMob. Google may collect advertising identifiers, device and app data, coarse location derived from IP, and ad interaction data, as described in Google’s privacy policy and Google’s advertising policy.

In the European Economic Area, UK, and similar regions, Spellstack shows Google’s consent form before personalized ads. You can change ad choices later in Settings, which shows Ads & privacy choices only where required. Rewarded ads are never required to finish a puzzle. Settings has a one-time Remove ads purchase. After that purchase, Spellstack does not load ads on that Google account.

Purchases

Remove ads is sold by Google Play. Spellstack does not receive your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Google account. Restore purchases in Settings puts it back after a reinstall.

Internet access

The app needs the internet to load ads, the consent form, and Play purchases. Puzzles, the dictionary, and progress work offline.

Children

Spellstack is family-friendly and intended for a mixed audience 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Permissions

Internet is used for ads. Vibration is used for optional haptics. The advertising ID permission is used by AdMob on Android.
